Dr. Alexander Korchmarev is Medical Director and Chief Psychiatrist at the Adult and Adolescent Mental Health Center.

He is a Graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) SFV Psychiatry Residency Program and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He has extensive experience with all presentations of Mental and Emotional illness. Additionally, he is a Subspecialist in Psychsomatic Medicine and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry (the interface between general medical conditions and psychiatric disease).

After graduating from UCLA he worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services as Chief of Behavioral Health, where he started a Behavioral Health Consultation Clinic that eventually grew to service nearly 700 patients and had over 100 new patient consults monthly.

Concurrently, he was the principal psychiatrist at the Transitions Program, a non-profit mental health center servicing adolescents and young adults with chronic mental illness.

In addition to Modern and Conventional treatments for Mental illness, Dr. Korchmarev has extensive knowledgeof natural treatments, homeopathic remedies, Dietary intervention, as well as Vitamin and Mineral Supplementation.

Dr. Alexander Korchmarev is multilingual. He conducts sessions in English, Spanish, Russian and understand Hungarian and Hewbrew.
